help with your business issue. Below are snapshots of each consultant.
Michael McElhenie, PhD - Research Director
Michael McElhenie is the Research Director for Conscious Pursuits, Inc –
working to validate the CPI Spiritual Intelligence Assessment.
He is also the Managing Director of the global consultancy, Metatropia Institute,
headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
Michael is globally recognized for research, assessment tools, and change
processes related to the competencies of emotional intelligence (EQ).
In regard to EQ, he is sought out for his leadership of executive retreats,
workshops, symposia and speeches; Michael’s presentations on EQ consistently
receive the highest industry and participant ratings.
He has served as Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Management Development
for the HayGroup, Director of Assessment Services for Bigby-Havis & Associates,
and curriculum designer, trainer and consultant for Human Dynamics.
At Bigby-Havis, he led the development and implementation of web-based selection
and development tools, and contributed to the development and global marketing of
ASSESS, the computerized expert systems for the selection and development
of leaders and professionals.
Michael received his PhD from the University of North Texas.
He is a licensed psychologist and a graduate of the Organizational Systems and
Development program of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
In addition to leading the Metatropia Institute,
Michael also serves as a Senior Consultant/Advisor to Teleos Leadership Institute
and is a member of the top-rated Duke Corporate Education Global Learning Resource Network.
B. Jill Carroll, PhD – Faculty and Expert in World Religions
Jill is an exceptional lecturer and teacher with extensive experience at the
university level as well as in adult learning organizations and the corporate
environment. Students of all ages are drawn to Jill’s gifts of communication
and rapport-building. In addition to her varied teaching activities,
Jill co-developed (with Cindy Wigglesworth) and presented
“Healing and Dying Across Religions™,” approved for continuing nursing
education contact hours by the American Holistic Nurses’ Association.
The class is an overview of major religious worldviews concerning illness,
dying and death aimed at helping healthcare workers respond to their patients’
spiritual needs. Jill is an accomplished writer and contributes regularly
to scholarly, commercial and professional publications. Jill earned a
BA and MA in Theology and Theological and Historical Studies, respectively,
from Oral Roberts University and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Rice University.
Paula Frate
Paula is a Registered Nurse whose specialty is holistic healing and caregiving.
In addition to her clinical work she has developed a successful consulting practice.
She has designed and delivered courses focused on holistic nursing,
designed and implemented wellness programs and managed wellness accounts
for a major health management corporation. Paula is an experienced and effective
trainer on subjects such as imagery, energetics, stress management, facilitation skills,
spiritual health and caring for the caregiver. Paula holds an Associate Degree
in Applied Science in Nursing from Owens College and completed the Certification
Program in Holistic Nursing from Seeds & Bridges, Inc. She is also a Certified
Holistic Nurse through the American Holistic Nurses’ Association. She is currently
pursuing a professional coach certification.
Kimberly R. Moore
Kim’s focus with CPI has been on facilitating the validation and use of our
proprietary Spiritual Intelligence Assessment Instrument (SQI). Her strong analytical
skills and bottom-line orientation keep the goal of benefit in the business world
firmly in front of us! Her previous consulting experience has been in the areas
of employee compensation and incentive pay design. Working independently and with
national organizational consulting groups in the fields of leadership and organization
development, she has helped clients in diverse industries such as healthcare,
energy services, financial services and sales. Her solid industry and business
knowledge provided trusted, objective analyses and compensation strategies to guide human
resources practices and processes, and assess tools and methodologies. She is involved with
her family in community aid projects and provides career coaching to high school and
college students. Kim received a BA in Economics from Texas A & M University and was
Recipient of Attaché Scholarship. She also earned an MA in International Development
and Economics from A & M.
Dianna Edwards
Built on over ten years of success as an educator, trainer and therapist,
Dianna currently provides executive and life coaching around personal purpose and
values hierarchy issues and designs and implements corporate training programs.
Dianna excels in engaging participants in the learning process through her effective
use of projective techniques and games as interactive teaching tools.
For a major Houston hospital she recently co-developed a values orientation training
which is being implemented throughout the hospital’s 9,000-employee network.
Dianna’s creative talents extend into writing. She authored a series of three
children’s books dealing with traumatic events and is currently converting an
original play into a screenplay. Dianna is a certified Trainer, Educator and
Practitioner in Psychodrama Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. She holds a
BFA in Theatre from Denison University, Granville, OH and an MA in Drama Therapy
from New York University, New York, NY.
Liz M. Weiman
Liz has enjoyed successful careers in teaching, curriculum development and
multimedia design. From early professional assignments as associate and senior
editor for two successful magazines, she expanded her creative talents into the computer
technology field. For 20+ years she has developed and taught all level classes for n
umerous software applications in many major local corporations. Her technological
expertise also includes web development and design and adapting classroom
curriculum to on-line classes. Liz has had a long-time interest in various
aspects of spirituality and teaches in adult learning settings topics such as
mysticism from world religions, healing of the mind and living and dying consciously.
Liz graduated from Boston University with a BA in English, and a minor in Journalism
and has completed several creative writing courses in the University of
Houston Masters English degree program.
