About our founder
 |
As Founder and Owner of Conscious Pursuits, Inc. Cindy Wigglesworth bridges a solid
business background with her passionate beliefs about the importance of integrating
our spiritual and work
lives.
Her prior work experience includes 20+ years in human resources management for ExxonMobil
Corporation, performing in all the traditional areas of HR, most notably
- organizational design, effectiveness and workforce / culture issues,
- executive coaching and performance improvement,
- training development and delivery and global training strategy
|
In addition, Cindy was assigned for two years to lead the human resources component
of an enormous business process redesign effort for Exxon Chemicals. This global
best practices activity was carried out in 33 chemical plants around the world.
It included significant challenges in change management: converting change resistance
into enthusiastic support in the plants, quantifying a serious future staffing problem,
defining skill sets for the technicians for the new millennium, and creating on-line
training capability.
Since forming Conscious Pursuits, Inc., Cindy's most major consulting projects have
included The Methodist Hospital, a world class hospital network. Her work with the
Vice President of Spiritual Care and Values Integration resulted in implementation
of a network-wide values integration program with the stated objective of creating
a "spiritual environment of caring." Cindy's contribution included developing the
overall plan, establishing the measurement methodology and co-designing and implementing
a values class for Methodist's 9,000 employees. Methodist's overall efforts to create
a "spiritual environment of caring" earned them the 2002 International Spirit at
Work award.
Cindy's spiritual foundation comes from a lifetime study of philosophy, psychology,
religion and related sciences. Her latest studies have included Jungian Psychology,
the science of consciousness and emotions, quantum physics and the major world religions. With
a personal library of over 800 books, she can always be found with a book nearby
and educational CDs and tapes in the car!
She is a powerful keynote speaker, a master teacher and expert in the fields of "spirit at work" and Spiritual Intelligence. She is extensively quoted in
the book Megatrends 2010: The Rise of Conscious Captialism by Patricia Aburdene.
